EQL helps fix Access database corruption
Updated 2009-09-24 | Filed under Geosync | PDF
Question
I heard Access .mdb files become corrupted sometimes. Can you help with that?
Answer
Yes. Because Geosync makes a perfect copy of your database on our servers, it can also recover that copy automatically if your own copy becomes corrupt. If a database becomes corrupted, you can recover a fixed version from our server.
Also, because we take frequent backups, you can even recover from non-corruption-related data loss. For example, if someone accidentally deletes all the data in a table, you can easily rewind to the most recent backup using our web interface.
