Geosync requires Microsoft Access, OnWeb doesn't

Question
Do I still need a copy of Microsoft Access?
Answer
For Geosync, yes. All the changes to your database happen from inside Access. Geosync synchronizes your database to our servers, where OnWeb can let people browse (read-only) the data on the web even if they don't have Access. It also synchronizes the data (read-write) between different copies of your Access database.
If you use [OnWeb][], then anybody can run your Access database in their web browser without buying or installing a copy of Access. You can also build web-based applications for any platform and access your data via the [EQL API][]. You will still need at least one copy of Access in order to build the application in the first place.
